‘Macaron Bake-Off’ for food banks
Donation protected
Following the success of last years inaugural event, this year we want to achieve bigger and better…
On Monday February 26th at 9am we, at Edible Art Patisserie in Cheltenham, will begin a 24 hour macaron baking session with the aim of raising as much money as possible via donations, sponsors, silent auctions & macaron sales from the event for food banks all across the UK.
We will be working with community based food banks on how best to disperse the funds upon the completion of the event and will even consider helping families directly if possible - whatever is best to help ease pressures that we are all facing during these unprecedented times we find ourselves in.
Last year we began this annual event modestly, raising a nice four figure sum that was achieved via donations, silent auctions, and the attraction of guest chefs visiting to help out throughout the event.
This year we want to go bigger and better! We have a larger platform, a larger audience & even a larger baking kitchen so we want to smash last years results in both number of macarons produced & money raised.
If you wish to donate - thank you.
We will be dropping announcement whether they are sponsors, guest chefs, live streaming of the event, who we will be helping, and many more other the weeks leading to February 26th.
Thank you for your support for this project we hope to make an annual event within the Edible Art Patisserie Kitchens.
