My name is Maceo, I am a student athlete and young entrepreneur. In an effort to fund my continued growth as an athlete and to fill a need in my community I am asking for your support in starting my business “Memorables Moments”.

About Memorable Moments
My business is called Memorable Moments. The initial offering will be engraving athletic medals that are awarded at track events and then expand to other sports and venues. Then I plan to move to other items like memorabilia for weddings, birthday parties, service, other awards and more.
As a track athlete, I have traveled to many events in which medals and other forms of accomplishment are awarded. But the means to record on the medal or trophy that the event is awarded for to make the accomplishment more memorable is lacking.
Why I am starting Business
As you can imagine travel to track events locally and outside of my home state can become expensive very quickly. Therefore, I thought of a business to fill a need in my community and sport at my competition level and finance my track and field expenses.
I have medaled in numerous times as an USATF All-American over the past three years and know first-hand the pride that comes with setting a goal and then be awarded on a National stage for all the hard work that has gone into the accomplishment. I am starting a business that will make the accomplishment a little more memorable for an athlete who may not have another opportunity to participate at a high level because of the expenses involved and not a lack of ability.
As a student and an athlete who participates in track and field, swimming and playing organized basketball, I plan to run my own business, which will teach me valuable lessons such as being a student first while becoming independent in meeting expenses. My goal is to earn money to pay for the upcoming years of training and travel that will be required for me to compete at the highest levels possible. My desire is to compete at the collegiate level on scholarship and perhaps some-day represent the United States at the Olympics or some other National and International venue.
My athletic accomplishments and training goals
I am 11 years old and I am National champion and All American in the High Jump, Triathalon, Long Jump and Shot Put. It can become very expensive rather quickly. Please join me in the endeavor to further my training and continue to compete at all levels by providing a small donation to help me finance the start of my engraving business. Some the upfront cost that you will help me to meet in the start-up of this business will be the purchase of the machine and replacement engraving bits which are both very expensive.
