MACHA Ongoing Support!

Hi! We are Maria Elizabeth White and Anna Marcus-Hecht, writers of MACHA!

MACHA is a one-act musical with book and lyrics by Maria Elizabeth White and music and lyrics by Anna Marcus- Hecht, written for their NYU Graduate Musical Theater Writing thesis project. The story follows the budding friendship of the ancient Irish goddess of revenge, Macha, and Tiff, a modern woman in an abusive relationship, as they help each other to navigate their toxic situations.

We staged a reading of MACHA during the Emerging Artists Theatre's Spring 2023 New Work Series on March 15th, 2023, and used all funds raised at that point to pay our director, actors, and musicians. Thank you to everyone who donated! We couldn't have done it without you!
