Macie's Leukemia Fund

At birth, our niece Macie was diagnosed with a rare heart condition,  Aortic and Pulmonary Stenosis.  At 4 yers old she has already had 2 heart surgeries, countless tests performed and has spent more time in hospitals than many of us ever will.

Last week Macie wasn't feeling well and her parents took her for what they thought would be a routine appointment given her condition. Macie's doctor did some blood work and let Bonnie and Josh know her white blood cell count was higher than expected they needed to take her to UC Davis immediately. While there, she was diagnosed with Acute lymphocytic leukemia.

Macie has a long road ahead of her for the next 2 years to battle this disease on top of her heart condition.  She'll need to travel 300 miles round-trip for each week for chemotherapy treatments as well as in-home visits and care. We are raising money for her treatment as well as travel expenses to and from doctors and specialists at UC Davis and Stanford.

Despite all she's been through during her short time on this earth, Macie is a compassionate, loving, headstrong and determined little girl that always has a smile on her face. We need to make sure she has the brightest future possible because this world needs the Macies.
