Macie's Wheelchair Accessible Van

Hi I'm Jess, Macie's mum. We're trying to fund raise for a van to take Macie where she needs to go... and Macie loves to go everywhere! She hates being stuck at home - her favourite places are the zoo, the pool, the beach and school. Macie's adores her three siblings and her friends. She loves fart jokes and dancing.

Macie has just turned 9 and has a very rare chromosomal abnormality called Ring 18. This means she has many health problems, hospital appointments and therapies. She uses a wheelchair to get around, has a feeding tube and is non-verbal. Life is tough for Macie - but despite this she is a joy.

Like everyone lately, we're struggling to make ends meet. A van for Macie is so far out of our reach. As Macie grows she gets heavier and harder to lift, and we end up with injuries. Our current car isn't suitable anymore. It also means that sometimes she gets left behind which isn't fair.

We are humbly asking for your help to reach our goal so that we can get a van to modify for Macie's needs.
