Mackenzi Rickman Memorial Fund

Hello, my name is Tricia and I am fundraising for

Mackenzi Rickman. I got to know Mackenzi’s mom, Amber, while working in the hospital in Casper, WY. She is one of the kindest and most loving people I have ever met. 

Over the weekend, Amber and her husband made a quick trip to town to run some errands. They were gone no more than 45 minutes when they were phoned by the police regarding an emergency happening at home. Mackenzi had stayed home that day to watch her little 5 year old sibling. EMS notified Amber that Mackenzi had gone unresponsive and had been unconscious for over 30 minutes. Mackenzi was life-flighted to Denver for emergency medical treatment. The prognosis was not what we had been praying for but we held out hope. Today, Amber and her family had to make the most difficult decision of their lives; they terminated medical treatment and Mackenzi passed with her family by her side. 

The funds raised will go to assist the family with expenses related to her medical emergency, travel expenses, and now funeral arrangements. 

Mackenzi comes from a big, blended family and loved being a big sister. She leaves this Earthly plain at 16 short years. She was a sophomore who loved skateboarding and spending time with her boyfriend, Markus. She was an animal lover and enjoyed watching ‘Friends’.
