MacKenzie's OPERAtunity Fundraiser

Hello everyone!

 

I have the great pleasure of being welcomed back to Italy for an amazing opportunity to sing for the International Lyric Academy in Vicenza, Italy. I have been offered the role of Maestra delle Novizie in Puccini's Suor Angelica! This production will take place next month in July of 2022, and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I wish to take advantage of. While in Italy, outside of rehearsals for the opera, I will be able to participate in masterclasses and lessons taught by other voice professors around the world. Additionally, I will be conducting research for my upcoming Capstone presentation/recital that that date is TBD this fall. My capstone will incorporate music by Rossini, Bizet, and others and I will touch on the history from around Italy and tie it in with music. Living in Italy for nearly 3 weeks is not cheap, so any donations, $5, $10, $15, $50 or more, would be greatly appreciated. I will also welcome all prayers.
