Mackeys recovery after drowning accident

Update: Hello everyone my name is Keia I’m a momma to 4 amazing little girls and 1 strong little warrior named Mackey we are raising money for the many therapies Mackey will need following a non-fatal drowning accident on July 5 our world stopped and our lives was turned upside down after being severely injured in a horrible car accident I got the call just minutes out of surgery my sweet boy drowned he fell into what should have been a locked pond and after 49 minutes of resuscitation efforts he was revived and flown to a larger childrens hospital 1 hour away. After 22 days in the hospital I was released to be bedside with my sweet boy. He was diagnosed with a severe anoxic brain injury he was in a medically induced coma for 12 days and when doctors removed the ventilator and sedation he began to wake up. Though severely impaired he survived Every since that horrific day mackey has fought very hard towards recovery and shown us the true definition of strength. Mackey was the kindest kid you could ever meet he loved animals cars everything Spider-Man and was the biggest mommy’s boy ever his smile and laugh was truly infectious. Mac is still hospitalized and unable to do the things he was able to before unfortunately with brain injury many of the therapies proven to work are not covered by insurance I have began working and doing all i can to save money to get him the treatment he needs to began to recover as a mother I am doing everything in my power to bring my sweet boy back but the hardest thing to admit is I can’t do it alone we are raising money to get him into a good rehab facility as well as hyperbaric oxygen therapy with Dr. Paul harch and stem cells with Dr. P in Arizona as well as therapy equipment for when he comes home. These Therapies are very costly so I am asking any and everyone to donate anything you can to help me began to get my sweet boys laugh back his smile back his voice his ability to be the energy fueled 5 year old he was before this terrible accident. my Name is Keia I am the mother of a strong courageous super kid named Mac on 7/4/2023 I went doordashing to make money for the Fourth of July activities my littles wanted to do unfortunately I had a tire blowout after being side swiped and lost control of my vehicle and wrecked our only vehicle I split my forehead open split my lip broke both ankles and injured my spine requiring immediate surgery upon my arrival on 7/5/2023 just three hours out of surgery I got a frantic call that my 4 year old fell into a pond and couldn’t be found a neighbor jumped in and found his lifeless body he was giving a next to 0 chance of survival initially however after 49 minutes of cpr they got a heartbeat and he was life flighted to a larger childrens hospital we are unsure how long he was under nor how bad the damage to his brain may be but with me hospitalized due to my injuries we have reached hardship so I’m out of a car my home and my child is in icu on life support we are really need all the help we can get as I will have to find a new home try to get a vehicle while still owing on my totaled vehicle and try to support myself and child through both of our healing . I am still hospitalized and unable to be by mackeys side nor be with my other 4 children his projected cost of care for recovery is overwhelming without including mine Mac has a very long road to recovery as do I if you could find it in your hearts to help our family in this difficult time even if just lifting us in prayer we will be forever grateful. Mac is a great loving wonderful child who has already overcame so much his infectious laugh and big burst of energy he always had is what I’m missing most I’m trying to stay strong but my heart is in pieces for my little boy I’m asking any parent out there to please pray for my little guy lift my family up and declare healing over us all. The money raise will be solely used to afford the therapies Mackey will need such as stem cells hbot and mnri therapy to maximize the recovery process as well as get the equipment he will need on this journey thank you all !
