MacMaster Family Fund
Donation protected
Two years ago, Cyndi Stinchfield MacMaster fought a courageous battle with cervical cancer - and won. Cancer has again reared its despicable head and has threatened to take the life of this 36-year-old beautiful wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend that so many people love, cherish and depend on. The prognosis this time around is daunting and Cyndi is clearly fighting daily for her life.
Cancer has invaded Cyndi's liver and we now know this is the cause of the past few months of deteriorating health. Her doctors have given very little hope for survival, but she and her family are staying strong and determined not to let this insidious disease rob them of her precious life.
Cyndi and Scott MacMaster are the parents of three gorgeous boys - Jake (12), Parker (7) and Tripp (5). Cyndi is a real estate agent as well as an amateur writer. Scott is a police chief in Richmond. The three boys are sweet, polite and adore their mom and dad.
I'm Cyndi's sister Corina and I've started this fund, together with our brother and Scott's sisters, to support the MacMaster family financially. They need to focus on their family's survival right now rather than how to pay bills or buy food and gas. Given that this is Cyndi's second fight, the family's financial resources have already been exhausted. Your donation - no matter how large or small - will help. We are extremely grateful for any amount.
I'm asking for your help make this Christmas with their three boys a memorable one.
Cyndi is exploring every option for treatment, all of which present financial hurdles to overcome. You can help those crucial decisions be based solely upon likelihood of success, rather than cost, by donating any amount you can.
It's hard to describe just how trying a battle with cancer is to this mom. Cyndi lives with the ever-present threat that she'll leave behind her husband and three boys without a wife and mother. Scott, Jake, Parker and Tripp have been incredible troopers through the first battle, and they are standing strong again as her body is again fighting the nastiness that is cancer. Right now, Cyndi's body is weak and she's completely fatigued. Walking from a vehicle to a building is exhausting. Grocery shopping, house cleaning or playing with her boys is too much. Even taking a shower is a struggle.
As her sister, it's tearing my heart out to watch this precious family struggle. This website is to raise money, but I also ask for your prayers of healing, strength, comfort and grace.
Thank you again, again and again.
