Located in the heart of southeast Michigan, Macon Creek has grown over the past four years into a vibrant community where art, innovation, and sustainability intersect. This dream has become a reality thanks to the incredible support of so many—people just like you—who believed in the power of creativity and the importance of community.

Today, our creative coworking building, The Hive, is home to a diverse membership that continues to grow. From textile and 2D artists to financial planners, small business professionals, and entrepreneurs, each person brings something unique, utilizing the shared space to foster their craft, build their business, and find a place of belonging.

But The Hive is only part of the story.

We’ve opened our doors to young and experienced artists, helping them explore their talents through music clinics, retreats, and summer camps. Our gallery has showcased local artists, and our banquet facilities have hosted family gatherings, parties, reunions, and rehearsal dinners. Makers, builders, and glassblowers have also found a home here as they've gathered to share and hone their craft.

Our first ever summer camp @ Macon Creek! These amazing young musicians improvised on a tune written by one of our campers to a silent film they created over 48 hours during our week-long camp.

Macon Creek’s influence expands in ways both tangible and transformative. Our vibrant online community serves as a hub where artists come together, sharing their creative journeys and forging new connections between art and innovation.

Meanwhile, 100 acres of our land are dedicated to local farmers, who cultivate and harvest their crops with care, aligning their practices with the rhythms of nature. This partnership deepens our bond with the land and strengthens our commitment to sustainability.
