Mac's Devastating Apartment Fire Recovery Fund

Dear friends and family,

We come to you today with heavy hearts and a plea for support. Our dear friend's child Mac, and their girlfriend Alex, recently experienced a devastating apartment fire that has left them with nothing. Last night a fire started in the ceiling of their apartment. Mac called 911 and was able to grab a wallet, their dog, some cash and their grandma's t-shirt and fled the apartment within seconds. In an instant, their home and all of their belongings were lost to the flames. The emotional toll of such an event is immeasurable, but we believe that together we can lift their spirits and provide the support they desperately need during this challenging time. We have started a GoFundMe campaign to gather financial assistance to help them rebuild their life from scratch.

Mac & Alex are two hard-working, incredible individuals who are currently in their final year of graduate school at Sarah Lawrence College in New York. Mac is currently a 2nd-grade school teacher who teaches math, ELA, and STEM and assists students with social and emotional development. I cannot think of 2 people more deserving of our financial assistance during such a devastating time than those who dedicate their lives to our children.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on their journey toward recovery. The funds raised will go towards securing their new home, replacing essential items, and helping them regain a sense of stability. It is our collective love and generosity that will help them heal and move forward.
