Mac's Vet Fees Glasgow Small Animal Hospital
Donation protected
Hi,
Mac is our 18 month old Cocker Spaniel pup, full of life and character and loved by all.
On Tuesday afternoon Mac was sick, didn't think too much about it as apart from the sick he was his usual boisterous and cheeky self, on Wednesday morning he had been sick again during the night and became very unsteady on his feet and lethargic, we had him to the vet's within an hour and they ran some tests, they diagnosed him with severe pancreatitis and a bacterial infection and treatment started in the way of scans, fluids and IV antibiotics, Mac was sent home on Wednesday night to see if he would settle and asked to bring him back in on Thursday morning for further treatment, as requested he was taken back in yesterday morning and given a second dose of the antibiotic from the day before and another type of antibiotic along with more fluids and scans, yesterday he didn't improve and was referred to the Small Animal Hospital in Glasgow, we took him there last night and he was admitted, they called this morning to advise that further tests will need done and an ultrasound and possible surgery if they find any blockages etc, this will bring the vet fees to around £7,000
Stupidly we don't have any insurance for Mac as never had any for any of our pets before and always been lucky, unfortunately not this time, I am asking for your help which isn't an easy thing for me to do.
Please help us raise as much as possible to give Mac the best chance of coming home to his family and our other dog Alfie is missing him like crazy.
Thank you so much
