Maday Estrada, beloved by many, amada por muchos

Hi, my name is Liz and I had the opportunity to work with Maday alongside her as Elders in my church. Maday was the only child, to the compassionate and humble Gonzalo and Mercy Estrada. All three served the Lord in their church. So many adjectives could describe Maday-generous, kind, loved children, happy, empathetic and a tireless worker for the Lord. Last year Maday was diagnosed with cancer, and unfortunately, she lost her battle today- she is sleeping in the Lord. Her death was very sudden as she was talking on the phone, receiving visitors in her home this weekend and this morning she suddenly took her last breath. This humble family is simply asking for help to only cover funeral costs, nothing more. They are now clinging to the promise we find in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first". We have a Blessed Hope we will see Maday on that Glorious Morning. The Estrada family will be forever grateful for any assistance and ask for your continued prayers in these difficult moments.

Hola, mi nombre es Liz y tuve la oportunidad de trabajar junta con Maday siendo ella Anciana de Iglesia. Maday era hija única, de una pareja humilde y compasiva- Gonzalo y Mercy Estrada. Los tres servían al Señor en su iglesia. Hay muchas palabras para describir a Maday- generosa, bondadosa, amante de niños, alegre, empática y una trabajadora incansable en la obra de Dios. El año pasado Maday fue diagnosticada con cáncer, y desafortunadamente, hoy perdió su batalla y duerme en el Señor. Su fallecimiento fue repentino porque estuvo hablando por telefono, y recibiendo visitas en su casa hasta este último fin de semana, y esta mañana tomo su último suspiro. Esta humilde familia, solamente está pidiendo ayuda para cubrir sus gastos fúnebres. Se aferran a la promesa que encontramos en 1 Tesalonicenses 4:16 "Porque el Señor mismo con voz de arcángel, y con trompeta de Dios, descenderá del cielo; y los muertos en Cristo resucitarán primero". Tenemos una Bendita Esperanza y sabemos que veremos a Maday en esa Mañana Gloriosa. La Familia Estrada estarán siempre eternamente agradecidos y piden la oraciones de todos ustedes en estos momentos dificiles.
