Mad Dawgs Spring 2016 Baseball

The Mad Dawgs 7U Baseball Team is a group of talented 6-, 7-, and barely 8-year olds based at the Town & Country Optimist Club in Austin, Texas. The Mad Dawgs coaching staff provides these boys who are already passionate about baseball with an amazing opportunity to improve their baseball and team building skills all while teaching them great life lessons about perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship. While the Mad Dawgs have had success playing against mostly 8U competition this spring, the focus of the team is on player development rather than winning at all costs.

The Mad Dawgs are raising funds for Summer tournaments, equipment and other baseball expenses. The plan is for the boys to play in several tournaments leading up to the coveted USSSA World Series in Sulphur, Louisiana. 

We are reaching out to our family, friends, friends-of-friends, and all youth baseball fans and asking for your generosity to help support these amazing boys, who will be forever grateful for your contribution and will do their best to make us all proud through their play and conduct on and off the field.
