Maddie's fight

It all started December of 2018. My sister Maddie was diagnosed with stage 3 hodgkins lymphoma on her 14th birthday. She went through a what seemed to be a quick but long 7 month fight. Thankfully in August she was found to be cancer free and all was well. Unfortunatly the Drs noticed the nodules in her stomach getting bigger recently. After running a PET scan they did find that the cancer did in fact come back. The results came out Friday December 20th. They had planned on going starting treatment all over again come January 1st. We live in south Florida and they go up to Nemours in Orlando since being first diagnosed December of 2018. This GoFundMe was originally made to help my family with expenses such as gas to make it back and forth and to help with food and bills. Unfortunately my sister ended up passing from catching the flu after her first round of chemo while her immune system was down on January 22nd. She was in the ICU fighting hard since January 18th. This money will now be used to help with funeral and other arrangements. We thank everyone for all the love and support and comfort you have given us in this dark time. Thank you and God bless
