Maddie’s Cancer Treatment Fund

Hello! We are Alex & Samantha Mackie, we are Maddie’s fur-parents and we are here asking you for your help! On November 25th of this year, Maddie got diagnosed with lymphoma at 4 years old. This diagnosis came on so suddenly and aggressively that after lots of testing and multiple opinions, she has been infected with ALOT of disease.

With testing and treatment thus far, we have spent roughly $5,000 already and we have made the decision to undergo Chemotherapy to hopefully give Maddie 1-2 years with us ♥️ We have been quoted roughly $400 a week for up to 19 weeks and if she handles it well, there may be additional costs. Any help would be greatly appreciated in prolonging our baby’s life!

The cancer is throughout her lymphatic system, her chest, her spleen, and her liver. However, even with the severity of her disease, she is still as happy as ever! She goes on walks, has a great appetite, plays with her brother, and even gets the zoomies from time to time! With being so young and still having so much spunk, it would be excruciating to watch her go downhill and leave us so quickly. Without treatment, she’s only given 3-6 months with the vet predicting she will probably go sooner than later. Unlike humans, dogs handle chemotherapy much better with little to no side effects.
