Maddi’s going to the 2023 Cheer World Championship

Hi,

I’m Maddi’s mum and she has trained so hard with her team Starz Elite to win an opportunity to represent her club and Australia at the 2023 Cheerleading World Championships, Orlando Florida USA!!

Covid has really impacted the world especially the younger generation who had to put their dreams on hold whilst we were all in the midst of a world wide pandemic.

Maddi graduated high school, got into University and started studying a nursing degree and continued to train hard to push herself to ensure she could reach her dream of competing at the cheerleading world championships.

She also made sure to work 2 jobs to help fund everything that comes with wanting such a huge dream. As a young adult Maddi is learning that dreams come at a cost and this time it is bigger than any other year.

Her travel invoice is currently around $6800 & that’s just for flights, shared accommodation, training and competition entry! Her chosen sport doesn’t qualify for any funding, even though it is at elite level.

We are hoping to help raise $1000 to help turn her dream into a reality. Every little bit will go directly towards her travel cost and straight into the clubs travel bank account.
