Grieving Maddison Elizabeth Doucet

It is with immense sadness that we announce the loss of the most beautiful soul, Maddison Elizabeth Doucet.

This gofundme has been created by the friends of Erin McVey as a means to help reduce the financial burden she will experience in the days, weeks and months to come as she grieves the loss of her sweet daughter, Maddi.

Below is a statement on behalf of the family.

“Yesterday, we lost our beautiful Maddison.

She was the kindest, most gentle soul. She had a compassionate heart for anyone struggling and was never judgemental. She had a light and a presence that was truly magnetic.

Life without her is never going to be the same. She will be in our hearts until we get to see her beautiful face again. We’re left with so many happy memories and only our imagination for what could have been.

We will honour her life by trying to see the world and all the people in it with compassion.

We love you with all our hearts, Maddison Doucet.”

The loss of Maddi was sudden which has left unexpected financial expenses. To relieve the financial stress during this incredibly difficult time, we’ve created this go fund me so that they can grieve their unimaginable loss with as little additional worries as possible.

The funds will go towards funeral and end of life costs as well as ease the financial burden from loss of work while Erin tries to navigate through this tremendous grief.
