Help the twins fight Wilkie’s (SMA) syndrome
Donation protected
My little sisters, 19 year old twins Maddy and Micky, have recently had a huge health crisis. On top of their auto-immune disorders, they have both been diagnosed with superior mesenteric artery (SMA) Syndrome, or Wilkies Syndrome. It is a very rare disorder that causes arterial pressure to the small intestine, making it almost impossible to digest or gain any nutrition from food.
Luckily, they have been sent to the Mayo Clinic and are on a drive right now to Minnesota all the way from Arizona. We have hope that we will find more answers and real solutions so that these young girls can continue to live full, productive lives.
All of these doctor visits have built up quite a bill, and this is only the beginning. Our family could really use any help we can get so the twins can get the treatment they need. Every dollar helps!
I’ll continue to post updates as we get them. Thank you to everyone who contributes!
