Madeline Ritter House Fire Relief Fund

On December 27, 2022, Madeline Ritter was one of the nine people displaced after their West Linn apartment building was destroyed by fire during a raging winter storm.

Madeline was awoken by cries for help from her elderly, downstairs neighbor. When she opened his door, she was overwhelmed by smoke. With the neighbor out safely, Madeline navigated her way through the thick smoke back to her apartment where she was able to rescue her two kitties, despite her living room now fully engulfed in flames.

Madeline and her cats are safe but they lost everything in the fire.

Madeline was raised in West Linn and you might recognize her from her days working at Nineteen 33 and most recently at J Willy’s Public House & Eatery. She’s also a full time student at Oregon State University.
