As you may know, our dear friend, dedicated artist/activist, Madeline Behrens-Brigham is leaving Hayes Valley after 30 years of residence and service.
Many have expressed interest in honoring her with dinners, drinks, etc. to say "bon voyage." However, at this point in time, her schedule is busy preparing her move and curating the Hayes Valley Artists and Haight Street Art Center's gallery show at PROXY SF. Her time is running short.
Though she is resourceful and quite inventive, I know that costs do mount when relocating. Those who wish to support her are encouraged to contribute any donations to assist with moving costs and new nest necessities.
If you have more time than money to spare, physical help in SF on moving day, Tuesday, Dec. 29th at 9:30am in Hayes Valley, and/or in Santa Rosa later in the day to unload would also be greatly appreciated.
