Madison and the Belz Family

Hi everyone!

My name is Brittany Pacifico and I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Brooke this school year and last year she was in another classroom. She is the sweetest soul and the most patient person I have ever met.

However, right now, Brooke and her family need our love and support.

Brooke and her husband are spending most nights and days in the hospital from Savannah to now Atlanta with their 12 year old daughter, Madison. Before she goes to school in the morning, Madison spends time in my classroom before she has been sick and she is nothing but helpful and positive and has an amazing smile while laughing at our silly songs.

Madison is a beautiful, kind girl that has been in pain for months now with not many answers. She has been having GI issues and and kidney issues. She has gone through so much that I can’t even explain everything here.

In the past, Madison has had a kidney transplant. Recently they found a blood clot and just yesterday, February 3rd, they found our her kidney has completely flipped it was on her right side. It was in the bottom of her stomach towards the left so basically her blood vessel twisted the kidney like a wooden hose, and that was kink in the blood flow into the kidney.

The specialty OR doctor was able to successfully flip it back but there’s still a lot going on with her kidney. This also still doesn’t explain all the diarrhea and GI issues Madison is going through.

I am asking anyone and everyone to support this family and send thoughts and prayers for Madison and her strong family. Any donation is going straight to the family for all the medical expenses, travel costs, food, gas, etc. They deserve the world and I want to help them however I can!!

I will also be collecting an envelope of any gift cards, activities and toys for Madison as well. You can message me privately if you would rather donate that way than this website.
