UCA All American - Additional Information
Over the summer I was named an All American at a UCA cheerleading camp. I now have the opportunity to perform in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade and perform live on TV. The trip is expensive and although I'm only 13 I do have a job that will help me pay part of my way. This is a once in a lifetime trip and I'm very excited to attend. Please see the press release I attached below for more details about what it means to be an all American for UCA. Thanks for your help :)

Named All American by Universal Cheerleader Association
Eureka, IL - Five Eureka Middle School Cheerleaders were named All American by the Universal Cheerleader Association.
The Universal Cheerleaders Association was founded in 1974, to provide high quality educational training for college, high school and Jr High cheerleaders through summer camps and clinics. UCA's goal is to inspire leadership on and off the field. UCA believes that the primary purpose of a cheerleader is to support athletic programs and lead the crowd before and during games. Cheerleaders play an instrumental role in raising, leading and maintaining school spirit in and around their communities. In, short they are leaders in building general morale at their school.

While attending a Universal Cheerleader Summer Camp five Eureka Middle School Cheerleaders where named All American. It is an honor to be selected an All American, as only 10% of cheerleaders in the country are selected. Each candidate had to go through a tryout process judged by UCA staff. Each candidate performed a dance, cheer and jump.
All Americans are invited to perform in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade in November 2014. The 95th annual Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade is the country's oldest Thanksgiving Day parade complete with fabulous floats, larger than life balloons, marching bands and some of the nations best talent. During the parade the All Americans will perform and cheer to the crowds along the streets of Philly. At the end of the parade route they will perform for a live TV show and will also participate in the finally of the parade with a cast of over one thousand performers.
