Madisyn Richardson – UMC Burn Unit

Hello everyone. My name is Kimberly Thomas, Aunt to Madisyn Richardson, a beautiful 16-year-old girl who suffered a horrific accident. I’m starting this gofundme on behalf of Madisyn’s family.

On Friday, April 28th, Madisyn was in an accident that resulted in about 50 percent of her body badly burned. Madisyn was life flighted from the hospital near her home to UMC burn unit (over an hour away from her home) with 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Madisyn is a beautiful girl who had her whole life ahead of her but will now have to be hospitalized for months and endure painful and numerous extensive skin grafts with the hope that this treatment will provide her the opportunity to heal. This has created a financial hardship for her family to ensure she has the proper medical treatment in addition to requiring full time medical care from her family both during and after her hospital stay. I am asking for prayers for the family and any help with their needs: medical bills, gas, food, and anything else they may need during this time. Madisyn has a long road of recovery ahead of her even after she comes home from the hospital. Please pray for Madisyn during this time as she is in a lot of pain physically and mentally.

Anyone who knows Madisyn knows she is a beautiful girl inside and out who loves life and would do anything for her family and friends.
