Madori Gray Memorial Fund for CHS Cheerleaders

Madori had an amazing love for her family, especially her kids and supported them in their activities often going above and beyond. She worked extremely hard to support Ella's Coronado High School Cheerleading team as the Booster Vice President and then President for the last 2 years. She saw first hand how little funding support this team receives from the school and how expensive it is on parents to support their student athletes. Uniforms alone are north of $700, then you add in coaches fees, camps, spirit wear, and all the other activities associated it can easily exceed $1800 per year. Our athletes come for all backgrounds and some find these costs challenging and/or impossible to cover. We would hate for these costs to inhibit or deter any athlete from participating fully and experiencing this championship winning program.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to support deserving Coronado High School Cheerleaders to offset their costs to participate in the program Madori poured so much of her heart, soul, and time into. It will be needs based, prioritizing our active duty military families (junior to senior ranked), single parent/income households, multi-cheerleader families, and others expressing needs as funds allow.

We greatly appreciate any amount that can be shared. In Madori's memory we have made some bracelets in her favorite purple color that reminds us to "live like Madori" and be full of love, support, positive energy, and make everyone around feel like close family and lifelong friends. "Its later than you think" refers to a saying the Romans put on sundials to remind us to take advantage of today as our time on this earth may come to an end sooner than we realize.
