Madysen Cedrone Made a National Volleyball Team

It is hard growing up these days, and Madysen has not had it easy, to say the least. From day 1, she has had the cards stacked against her, but she's learned to play the hand she's been dealt and always comes up on top. I'm so proud to call her my daughter.

I am trying to raise funds to pay for her spot on a National Volleyball Team that she has been offered. I am a single mom with 3 children. Both fathers of my children lost their lives to the rampant drug addiction we see today. I myself am a recovering addict with 13 years clean. She lost her father in 2017, and prior to that lost her step-father in 2014. Due to this, she became a parent-like figure to her younger brother and sister while I worked, just trying to survive. We became homeless shortly after her father passed. It remained that way for 2 1/2 years until I could finally afford the cost of getting an apartment.

Even with all this on her plate, she gets excellent grades, has amazing friends, and currently plays on a Division 1 Varsity Team at her high school. Since the day she picked up a volleyball, I have seen a spark I never want her to lose. She has a fantastic ability at the game and only thrives for more. Not only does she deserve this, but her strength, dedication and tenacity have earned this. I may not have the financial ability to write the check, but I will do anything in my power to make this dream of hers a reality.

Registration fees are $4300, which only secures her position on the team. It does not include any travel accommodations meaning gas, airfare, hotels, car rentals, food and any "extras" will be paid out of pocket.
