Maestro Arts Project and Eastwood Hill
Donation protected
I am raising money this week for Maestro Arts Project because this non-profit organization has a special place in my heart.
Eastwood Hill is the location that now homes Maestro Arts Project (MAP). MAP is a 501c (3) that provides continuing education to teachers in theatre fine arts education. They service all schools but focus on rural areas and title 1-2 schools. Many times these schools aren't able to have a dedicated teacher, or lack the resources for training so teachers must pay from their own pockets. MAP also helps students with audition training who may not have a specialized drama teacher with knowledge of how to prepare students for college auditions.
Your donations would go towards the housing costs at Eastwood Hill for the teachers paying out of their own pockets when they attend Maestro Arts Project seminars. 100% of those proceeds will go towards the maintenance and preservation of Eastwood Hill.
Eastwood Hill means so much to me because it is the home my ancestors purchased in 1850 and farmed. When my grandmother passed away, it wasn't in the best shape, as you can imagine, and needed a lot of TLC. We didn't know what would happen to it, but prayers were answered when Rick Garza, Miguel Garza and Sylvia & Bill Hollingsworth purchased the home and went to work to bring it back to life. In the last 13 years, they have continually poured their heart into its preservation and maintenance. I can't express how grateful I am for them. They even honored our family by naming the home after us - Eastwood Hill.
Please consider donating to this fund that means so much to my family and me. Any amount will help.
If you would like to learn more about MAP, the website is https://maestroartsproject.com, but please make donations here for this particular fundraiser so it can be presented in one lump sum.
