In Memory of Maggie Stephens (Copestake)
Donation protected
Our mother Maggie was a fabulous pianist, solo performer, duo partner, chamber music player, accompanist and inspirational teacher. She was a music-lover with a diverse and eclectic taste, from Elvis Presley to Stockhausen and everything in between.
Maggie’s life changed in October 2021, when she fell on her way to a concert at the Brighton Dome. She died peacefully on 17th June 2022. Maggie leaves behind her husband John, her two daughters Ella and Alice, and her grandchildren Emily and Frank. She is hugely missed by both her family and her many friends.
We are raising money for two music charities, the Benslow Music Trust and the Brighton Early Music Festival (BREMF). All funds donated in Maggie’s memory will be split between the two. Supporting these worthwhile charities is a wonderful way to celebrate our mother’s love of music. She would be happy to know that your generosity will benefit these causes which meant so much to her.
