Maggie Hinkle Gutnik's Memorial Music Scholarship

Hi, my name is Barbara Chase. I met Maggie in 1997, when she was nine years old and she became best friends with my daughter. I had the priviledge of watching her grow into an exepctional young woman and charismatic performer. She shined in concerts and theater productions in high school, and even minored in music in college. As a teacher, she touched the lives of countless students and always gave all she had to help them love learning and realize their potential.

On November 5, 2023, Maggie Hinkle Gutnik passed away after a long, brave battle with a cancerous brain tumor. I can't think of a better way to honor Maggie's legacy than to create a scholarship in her name so that future performers can further their musical dreams as they pursue higher education.
