Maggie's Cancer Battle

Approximately 2months ago my very dear friend Maggie   Lang, was let go from her job due to a company merger, and down sizing. While Maggie was out job searching, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Do to the extensive doctor appointments, and scheduling she has been unable to continue her job search.  Her priorities have been on her surgery, treatments and rehabilitation.  Maggie is a single mother, grandma, and homeowner who has always been very independent. At this time she has to pay an extremely high cost cobra insurance. She is collecting unemployment right now which barely pays the cobra payment, let alone her mortgage, utilities, food or any personal expenses. She is beginning  to receive large medical bills, with high deductibles. Maggie needs to concentrate on her healing and recovery and not have to worry about everyday financial issues.
