Maggies Swansea Fire Walk

Maggie's Swansea is a local charity that provides practical, emotional, and social support to men, women and children with cancer, their families, and friends across South-West Wales.

 

They offer a range of support including benefits advice, bereavement support, cancer specific support groups, nutritional advice, and post-treatment courses.

 

Each centre is self-funded, meaning they rely solely on the generosity of their supporters and community through fundraising, donations and gifts in wills and receive no funding from the government or NHS.

 

Every penny raised stays in Swansea and helps to continue supporting people with cancer, their families, and friends across South-West Wales.

So we decided here at Mallard, that we are crazy and are volunteering our poor feet for a Fire Walk! Those feet belong to Nerys and Gayle from the Llanelli Office, Victoria from the Ammanford Office and Tina and Rhodri from the Mumbles Office and Melissia who has volunteered to join us!
