Magic of Toys ❤️

What is the challenge?
I'm aiming to run 150km (about 5k a day) in December to raise money to buy children's toys to be sent to my local hospital in time for Christmas. Before lockdown I had given up running due to an old injury, but have slowly built up my strength and rediscovered my love for it - so this feels like a fitting challenge to really test myself!
To add some context, the furthest I've run so far in any month this year is 60km:
Where will the money go?
Due to Covid-19 The Lister Hospital children's ward have sadly had to limit the play on as patients cannot share toys as they usually would. This means that any toy a child has played with whilst in hospital has to go home with them when they are discharged.
More toys are needed for the children who have to visit the ward and especially over the Christmas period where toys are usually wrapped and given as gifts ❤️.
The Magic of Play reduces anxiety whilst children are waiting to be treated or discharged at hospitals and distracts young patients from injury or illness. This has been a vital tool during the scary and uncertain times of the pandemic and has made a huge difference in treating young patients.
