Magicians Perform for Our Veterans!
Dear Friends,
Please help support this incredible organization, run by two of my psychology professors, AND bring them to Tampa! (Click here for tickets to the closing party honoring this campaign),
Magicians without Borders , is a Vermont based group that brings the universal language of magic to hospitalized veterans and many children abroad living with the consequences of war. They also train and employ veterans through their "Warrior Wizard Program." The video link above focuses on their incredible work with refugees and orphaned children in places, like El Salvador.
The organization's founders are a husband and wife duo, Janet Fredericks and Tom Verner. Janet and Tom have been training me in jungian dream interpretation for the last three years. I have infinite gratitude for their wisdom and generosity and am excited to introduce them both to our community here in Tampa.
Our goal is to raise $2500 by Oct 1st, 2016 and bring Magicians without Borders to Tampa's VA Hospital.
Will you help us?
Your donations will go directly to Magicians without Borders. The funds will assist with travel expenses and further support their many magic training scholarships, and help purchase props needed for programs, like Warrior Wizards.
All contributions big or small are welcome and deeply appreciated. Suggested donation is $45 to meet our joint goal of 5k by October 1st ( and to get your bonus prize).
BONUS PRIZE:
The campaign ends with a party in the RAW space of Tampa Height's newest venue, Lector. Get tickets to this event here: https://www.gofundme.com/magicforvets/donate?amt=45
Please help us bring the universal language of magic to your local veterans here in Tampa this fall.
Sincerely,
Micheal Hooker
