Fund Holsenbeck's READ Campaign

The beloved author of The Magician’s Hat  and the University of Georgia’s star wide receiver, Malcolm Mitchell, is a role model to many of our students at Holsenbeck Elementary. Malcolm is a strong believer in the importance of early literacy intervention through books in the home. Malcolm has agreed to come to Holsenbeck as a guest speaker and read with our students on December 15th. We believe that providing his book for all of our families within the school will help instill in them the love of reading and the importance of families reading together. This would go hand-in-hand with Malcolm’s support of early literacy. This proposal will cost approximately $11,000. We appreciate any amount you are able to give to assist with our Holsenbeck READ Campaign.
