Magin’s Help wild fire unsheltered families
Tax deductible
UPDATE: Over the past months we have been able to provide over 200,000 meals, 50,000 hygiene support bags, send 250 homeless children back to school with all their backpacks filled with supplies, new outfits, shoes, and even the funds for them to purchase their school sweatshirts. We have been able to place 23 families in homes, donate 5 vehicles. For Christmas we delivered to those stranded and didn't have resources to stand in the lines to choose a gift. We provided the full elf delivery experience for these precious children. ..and so much support....
NOW.. we are working on keeping native families on the island, help with their needs to obtain housing and stay in the community safe and secure.
Many might not realize that families are still living in the streets, on beaches and have no services or funding outside of those like us who are on the group providing free services without financial support.
Please kokua (support) our efforts
Our volunteer team is assisting with the development and needs of the unsheltered families to help them with their immediate needs and housing.
As the crisis developed over the past few days our agency has been working one on one with individual families who have not been able to be in shelters.
We have housed families, provided support to those who have been stranded and away from support.
We are partnering and working with the nurses to provide infant care, diapers, formula and support.
Working with our team to match families with those who have extra housing options. This even resulted in having a family of six with a new born to be off the streets on the second day.
Furthermore we are developing a village style living on a private land owners property. This includes portable restrooms, showers, emergency supplies and food.
Your donations make this possible.
Once we get over the immediate crisis period we will continue to outreach to all those left homeless and find solutions.
