Magnus Aodhan: Heart Warrior

 

Meet Magnus Aodhan and his parents, Sean and Diana Kelly.

 

This GoFundMe campaign was created to help relieve some of the financial stress the Kelly family faces due to Magnus Aodhan's diagnosis of hypoplastic left heart syndrome, or HLHS.

 

HLHS is an extremely rare and serious congenital heart defect in which the left side of the heart is significantly underdeveloped. Surgical interventions must be performed to save HLHS babies like Magnus Aodhan.

 

 

In addition to HLHS, Magnus Aodhan was also diagnosed with pulmonary vein disease, or PVD. PVD manifests in the narrowing or occlusion of the pulmonary veins and arteries, constricting blood flow and impacting blood pressure and proper oxygenation.

 

Magnus Aodhan has already had numerous major open-heart surgeries, and more will be required in order to save his life.

Diana and Sean are both educators who live in Monmouth County, New Jersey. They are currently unemployed and staying at the Ronald McDonald House in order to be present for Magnaus Aodhan at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Your support for the Kelly family is greatly appreciated.
