Help Us Upgrade Our Main Camera for Better Live Plane Spotting Shows!
We are Airliners Live, a passionate and community focused channel dedicated to bringing you the highest quality live plane spotting broadcasts from Manchester Airport. Since 2018, we've been capturing aircraft of all shapes and sizes with our live streams multiple times a week, providing you with a front-row seat to all the action at the Runway Visitor Park and beyond.
In 2020, after many years of using a Panasonic Camcorder, we personally invested in the Sony RX10 Mk4 Bridge Camera, a fantastic bit of kit that has served us extremely well. Over the years, we've bought a total of four of these cameras for various feeds, including our Vancouver shows and the "Matt Cam" remote feeds on our Super Sunday shows. Despite taking very good care of these cameras, these cameras have endured the elements of the likes of Manchester week in and week out, and are now showing signs of wear.

At this point, we stand at a crossroads, after four years of exceptional work, do we continue to work with equipment that is now becoming increasingly unreliable, or is it time for a new chapter in the channels history, a new main camera? After a lot of prior consideration, we've made our decision.
It's time for an upgrade.
We're looking to raise £2,555 for a new Sony PXW-Z190 XDCAM 4K Camcorder, this price comes with a discount from our partners at Scan.co.uk. This new camera will be our main feed at the Runway Visitor Park, enhancing the quality of our streams and ensuring we continue to deliver top-notch content.
Why We Need This Upgrade
Our current cameras, though still functional, are starting to falter under the strain of years of use in all weather conditions. Replacing them all at once isn't feasible, but by upgrading our main camera, we can significantly improve the quality of our broadcasts.
