Make Maine Sports Arena Amazing!

Help a new youth sports arena get off the ground in southern Maine!
Who we are:
We're Maine Sports Arena, a subsidiary and new home of the Maine Juniors Volleyball Club. A youth basketball organization, TGK Athletics, is also utilizing the new space, and partnering with us. Both organizations are non-profit 501(c)(3)s. Together, the two clubs work with almost 600 student-athletes, providing them skills in their chosen sport, building teamwork and leadership!
Our Story:
We opened our doors on March 7th, 2017, racing for completion in time for the first New England Regional Volleyball Association (NERVA) tournament of the season. Opening a nearly 30,000 square foot facility is no small feat, and we did it in about two months! We've taken care of all of the "big" things, to include the court, the nets and goals, and an entirely new HVAC system. However, there's a number of "little" things that will make our new facility one of the best in New England!
Why We're Asking:
We need everything from cleaning equipment (hand mopping a floor this size is a day-long event) to scoreboard systems, chairs and tables to video distribution, coaching tools to water fountains... And that's where you come in. We know that our goal is big, but, as the saying goes, "many hands make light work," and that's why we're asking everyone we know for just a little bit of help!
Specific Items:
As noted above, we actually have a list of things that we are looking to purchase or have done for us:
- Electrical and Low Voltage Work (~$5K)
- Plumbing Work (~$5K)
- Chairs with Rolling Storage Racks and Tables (~$5.5K)
- Multi-Sport Scoring Systems (~$11K)
- Water Bottle Filling Station (~$500)
- Ice Machine (~$300)
- Floor Washing/Scrubbing Machine (~$6K)
- Carpeting (~$5K)
- Commercial Vacuum (~$600)
- Commercial Sink (~$500)
- Any number of miscellaneous items
As the saying goes, "a few thousand here, a couple hundred there, and pretty soon, you're talking about real money!" Well, we're definitely talking about real money here...
Our Timeline:
We'd like to have as much of the things that we need in place by April 23rd, which is the date of another big volleyball tournament, NERVA IV, followed shortly thereafter by basketball tournaments as well as more volleyball tounaments. Having a big backpack vacuum, and a floor scrubber to help clean up afterward would be an immense help. Having comfortable chairs for the teams, coaches, and scorers to sit in would be wonderful!
Put your company in contact with us...
Many companies will match donations made by their employees to verified non-profit organizations. If this is the case, please click the email icon next to Andrew's name right under the "Donate Now" button to send him a note. Rewards!
First and foremost, we'll be eternally grateful! And, we're not asking you to commit something for nothing - have a look at our rewards! We've got four levels, from "Player" and "Assistant" to "Coach" and "Founder", each with their own benefits. If you can't commit enough for a reward level, we certainly understnad - donations of any amount are welcome because every dollar helps!
The Plea:
Won't you please help us out? You'll become an honored "member of the team"... We promise, we'll make every dollar count!
