Edinburgh Half in Memory of Maisie Nuria Arroyo
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of LoveOliver and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about LoveOliver: LoveOliver funds vital research into childhood cancer and provides practical and financial support to families affected by it, across Scotland. The charity was established in 2011 in memory of baby Oliver Gill who lost his life to cancer on Christmas Day 2010, aged just 24 weeks old. LoveOliver is bringing about hope for the future through research, for much needed gentler treatments and cures. It is also providing invaluable practical support to families facing this devastating diagnosis.
*A challenge for a charity close to my heart…
This year I celebrated turning 30 and to honour the occasion I wanted to challenge myself and give back by running the Edinburgh Half Marathon on the 28th of May.
I will be running in memory of my dear friend’s daughter, Maisie, who sadly lost her battle to childhood cancer. Maisie was a wee warrior and has been my absolute motivation as I embark on this challenge and think of her through every training mile.
Love Oliver is a small charity that makes a huge difference! All proceeds raised will go towards ‘Maisie’s Fund’ and her legacy will forever live on!
Any donations will be hugely appreciated.
