Majestic's Urgent Need: Theater Gear Stolen

The Grinch struck early Christmas morning and removed approximately $10,000 worth of computer, sound and musical equipment from Majestic Repertory Theatre without our knowledge or permission. Not only was this a criminal move, but Majestic is gearing up for its next production - the classic musical Cabaret in January.

Without theft insurance - which is now being sought - the initial thought would be to work off the loss over the long run. However, one can't produce a musical without musical (and sound) equipment - so that plan is out the window.

As much as we try not to go back to our fans for this sort of assistance, we do need some help now. However, we're going to find a way to give back to those who can give now. We know it's Christmas and times are tight, but we'll use our Majestic mind to find a creative THANK YOU for whoever can come through.

But for now - just know we appreciate you. And we certainly hope whichever Grinch it was paid us an overnight visit finds good use for their new equipment...because the pawn shops are closed today.
