Major flood impacts over 40 small businesses
Donation protected
My name Is Jennifer Stricker, and I am one of over 40 vendors at Wild Vintage Collective. On the night of June 28th, the building experienced a catastrophic flood. The entire space (Wild Things, Wild Vintage Collective, and the new Clapping Monkey Coffee shop) was filled with 12-18" of water. The building structure is considered unstable and all of the 40+ small business owners/vendors are impacted. While these booth spaces are the primary source of income for many of the vendors, Josh, David, Lindsey and their family have poured their hearts and souls into their vision of creating a wonderful, inclusive community. They are proud of what they have built, and we are honored to be a part of it. We don't want to see it close. We want to help them rebuild or relocate; whatever is needed to get the Wild Things, Wild Vintage Collective and Clapping Monkey back on their feet along with the 40+ vendors. Please donate what you can to help this fantastic community of small businesses.
The funds collected through GoFundMe will be managed and utilized to reopen the Wild Vintage Collective, Wild Things Antiques, and The Clapping Monkey House of Coffee by David Wenzel. Remaining funds will be distributed among the 40+ small businesses. To be equitable the vendor distribution will be based on size of leased space.
