Major heart operation

Hi, my name is Henny & I am fundraising for my adopted pocket bully Skylar…

I took Skylar on as my own fur baby in August 2023, having showing no signs of any medical conditions Skylar lives a wonderful life.

I booked a vet appointment for Skylar to be spayed at which time I got a phone call saying they couldn’t do the operation due to a heart murmur… they wanted to do heart scans which at the time cost me £500… the found a very loud abnormal sound so skylar was passed to a specialist vet in Southampton. This appointment then cost me a further £980!

the news I received on this appointment is Skylar was born with a very blocked heart valve on one side, which is grade 4 (heart failure could start at anytime and skylar will pass)

They need to operate, they need to insert a balloon into the left side valve to open it up which with give her the best possible life and to live a normal life. Skylar is only 2 years old!!

I haven’t had the best experience with dogs which is why I am asking for help!

I had a wonderful sharpei called Marley who I lost 3years ago to kidney failure, they gave him a week to live with all the attention and research and money I did manage to get him to go on for another year comfortably…. The story goes on…. I also had my Kizzi who was a sharpei who I lost last year again to kidney failure. Using my research that I done for Marley again I managed to get Kizzi to live a little longer than expected but again at a small fortune… this is why I am asking for help! this operation is £6100 and she is booked in for 25th April…. I have been living on nothing skimping and saving like there is no tomorrow I have managed to save £1000
