Major, life saving operations for Bumble
Donation protected
Please meet my darling little 10 month old Cocker Spaniel puppy Bumble!
Diagnosed yesterday with a life-threatening birth defect in his left hip and left elbow. Bumble needs nearly £20,000 worth of operations in order to keep him alive. Without using too much medical language, Bumble needs a full hip replacement as well as OCD operation on his elbow alongside huge levels of aftercare, physio and of course, all the drugs you would expect with this level of invasive surgery.
For anyone out there that has had the joys of owning a dog, you will know first-hand how important these fur babies can be to us. Their health and well-being are always at the forefront, not to mention the extreme love we have for them. I am no exception and can honestly say my dogs mean the absolute world to me. So when the vets called yesterday to say he would need north of £20,000 worth of operations my heart broke.
I appreciate times are tough for everyone at the moment, and not everyone has had the pleasure of owning a dog and probably cannot understand the pain this is causing. However, I am having to put my ego aside and I am asking for friends and families to please help in any way they can to secure some of the funds to help us pay for Bumble's life-saving operations.
I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I would be to keep my darling boy with us for as long as possible and allow him to live a fully functioning, happy cocker spaniel life!
