Major (Tre) Harris III
Donation protected
Major (Tre) Harris III was a 17 year old young man with ambition, dreams and a goal to attend college in Florida upon graduation from Westerville Central High School in 2022.
Tre's life was unexpectedly taken from his family on Wednesday December 16th, 2020.
He had arrived home from his shift at Dicks Sporting Good at Easton, greeted his mother and went to his room to chat on the phone with his friend. He asked his mother if he could hang out with his friends for a little while, she replied yes and said do not be late coming home. Within 30 minutes of him leaving the home she received a frantic phone call from his friend stating that she needed to get to the hospital right away. Tre had been shot in the chest and did not survive his injuries. He died with his mother holding his hand.
Tre was an excellent student, football and basketball player and all around good kid. This situation has been very heartbreaking for the family and was very unexpected.
The family needs help during this tragic and difficult time.
The funds raised will go to help with Tre's funeral expenses and legal fees to ensure that the individuals responsible for this horrible crime are brought to justice and charged at the fullest extent of the law.
Tre's father, Major L Harris Jr., and his mother, Ilean C Scott, thank you in advance and truly appreciate any help you can provide.
Gone too soon and deeply missed by the family.
