Makandm3 Cat Rescue

Ever since I was little, I followed different rescues YouTube accounts and dreamed of running my own rescue when I got older, now I’m 16 with 5 cats that I’ve taken from different inhabitable situations, running a cat rescue out of my grandpas house.
Hermonie, I trapped with her 5 kittens who were living underneath a trailer, all of the neighbors told me she was feral but after I got her home and opened the trap in our Quarantine Room (the extra bathroom) she walked out of the trap purring. NYCSCR took on her 5 kittens and I decided to keep Hermonie here in Mississippi but she needs to be spayed, Vaccinated, Microchipped, and Snap tested before I can put her up for adoption.
My sister found Georgia outside of her house and when she saw her Bowling ball shaped belly she grabbed her and called me. We thought she was pregnant so we made a veterinary appointment right away, when we got her to the vet we found out that she was going through a false pregnancy which could have easily led to a bacterial infection in her Uterus. We got her spayed to prevent her condition from worsening, but she still needs to be vaccinated, snap tested, and microchipped before she can be adopted.
Lorili came from the shelter. A rescue I foster for pulled her after she was put on the kill list and I offered to take her on and find her a forever home, but she desperately needs a dental. I won’t adopt her out with her mouth in such a horrific shape, like the shelter was going to.
Thomas came from my deceased grandmas neighborhood in New Orleans. While I was trapping the colony of cats she fed for years, he ended up in one of my traps and kept meowing to us as if he was saying “take me too”. We took him and have been working on gaining his confidence for almost 3 months now. He’s come such a long way and was almost ready to be put up for adoption but over the past two weeks his health has declined tremendously. He’s very disoriented, he can’t walk or stand up for long without tumbling, and is refusing to eat. We’ve been battling an ear infection in his left ear and my vet thinks he caught calicivirus.
Mawmaw came from the same neighborhood as Thomas. My grandmas neighbor bought her as a Kitten and when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans they left her behind. My grandma started feeding and caring for her and continued to do so for 17+ years. She even got her fixed. When my grandma passed I took mawmaw into my rescue in hopes that I could find a comfortable forever home for her to live out her last days in. Recently she’s been refusing to eat, has drainage coming from her eyes, and is making a rough sound when she breathes. My awesome vet met us at the clinic when I noticed how fast she was declining. He gave her IV fluids and diagnosed her with calicivirus.
I have both of the sick cats isolated from the other cats, doing all I can to keep the house disinfected, and to keep the rest of them healthy, but I need help. Please consider helping us cover the costs of medical treatment all the cats need before they can be adopted into forever families.
