Makayla Cate's Final Arrangements

Hi, my name is Cierra, and for those who may not know me, I am one of Makayla's best friends. We're fundraising to help her family with the expenses needed as we lay Makayla to rest. Anyone fortunate enough to have met Makayla knew she was the life of the party. Makayla knew no stranger; she was always warm and welcoming to all she encountered and impacted many lives. She had a love for life that was simply unmatched. She could brighten even the darkest days with her ability to make anyone laugh. Makayla would lend anyone who needed it a listening ear and always gave the best advice. One of her favorite things in life is music festivals; they were her happy place. She was always the happiest when she was carefree and dancing to her favorite artists. Makayla loved dancing any chance she got, from parties to bars and even in the car. Above all else, Makayla loved her family and friends with everything in her. She would always make it a priority to spend time with those that mattered most. The girl was always on the go, from kickboxing with her sister to picking up her niece for the weekend or going out with friends. Makayla had a way of making everyone around her feel special. She's one of the most amazing souls I, like many others, have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Although we are heartbroken that she was taken too soon, we must remember that she would want us to celebrate her and the life she lived so unapologetically. We now will cherish our memories made with her a little bit more and find comfort in knowing she will always be watching over us. Makayla is now our forever angel and our eternal sunshine.
