A open viewing will be held Thursday April 20th from 5pm-7pm at The Springs Funeral Services-Platte. There will be additional viewing time the following morning Friday April 21st from 9:30am-10:30am. The funeral service will begin at 10:30am on Friday, followed by a processional to Evergreen Cemetery for burial. A celebration of life for beautiful Makaylyn will also be on Friday from 3pm-6pm at the Satellite Hotel. We invite you to wear pink or white to honor Makaylyn and the bright life she lived. She truly was Daddy’s angel.

Hi my name is Marvin and on 4/11/23 my beautiful 9 year old daughter was tragically hit by a truck. She was rushed to the hospital in Colorado Springs where they tried effortlessly to save her. She then was taken by flight for life to childrens hospital in Denver where she had another 2 surgeries. Despite all the efforts beautiful Makaylyn left us the next morning. She was a little girl that was just full of life and would light any room that she walked into. She loved art and to include all other kids. She was so expressive, all the other neighborhood kids loved her and knew when she was out of school. Unfortantley as we go into these hard time we will need help with providing her a service she deserves for such a beautiful life she had. I also own my own business so taking this time off will be hard and a loss of income. We have lots of family coming to supports us so also any other unforeseen expenses durning this time.
