Make Lilitha’s pilot dream come true!

This fundraiser is on behalf of Lilitha Hans, a 21 year old South African young woman who has dreamed of becoming a pilot since she was in primary school. Her passion and perseverance have pushed her beyond the limitations of an African girl child whose parents both passed away before she graduated high school.

Lilitha’s aunt has exhausted every means to support Lilitha’s pilot dreams but the funds have run out with Lilitha only 34 flying hours from finishing Port Alfred 43 Air School. Lilitha needs your push to join only a handful of African women pilots (globally, less than 2 percent of pilots are Black, less than 1 percent are Black women). Lilitha is the only young woman in her class. Her diligence and dedication in pursuit of her dream has earned her distinction, with a 95% average on her exams.
