Make a Wish USC

We are Make A Wish USC, a student run organization fundraising for Make A Wish Greater Los Angeles. Throughout the academic year, we hold various fundraisers and social events, fostering positivity and helping to make local children with critical illness' wishes come true. Just this past January, we were able to make the wish of a 13 year old girl come true—we sent her and her family on a vacation to Hawaii! Please consider donating to our student organization. Anything helps us reach our goal of $10,000 and we appreciate your love and support!

For those who are unfamiliar with Make A Wish, they are a nonprofit organization that aims to help make the wishes of children with critical illness come true. Many times in these children's lives, they are told no—no they can't go to school, no they can't see family and friends, no they can't play outside. Make A Wish aims to say yes. Yes to anything that their imagination can offer. It's not a final wish, but rather a lasting wish. Studies have shown that by granting a sick child a wish, their overall positivity towards their recovery and treatments increases. It gives these children a much needed spark in their lives, proving to them that they have a team of support behind them through every step of their hardship.
