Help send our team to Volunteer in Kenya!

Since 2018, the Connect with the Child program has directly impacted our lives here in the United States, and now is our chance to travel to Kenya to make a direct impact on the lives of the children and adults of the Connect with a Child Ministry/Orphanage in Kenya.

The team of 10 will include 6 adults and 4 children, all with different capabilities to fulfill the needs in Siaya and Nairobi, Kenya. The needs are many and the Connect with a Child administration team requests as much help as possible during our stay; Labor projects such as painting, repairing desks, carpentry, refurbishing a soccer field, and small construction projects. Requests have also been made for supplies; art supplies, playground equipment, hygiene supplies, and food for the Widow Support Ministry. These supplies will be purchased in the country with funding raised in an effort to avoid additional taxing.

This GoFundMe account is to help with all the finances involved in this mission trip in October 2024.  Including costs of Visas, vaccines, transportation and lodging in Kenya for the mission team, as well as the supplies needed to complete the projects while we are in Kenya. The quotes for the projects total over $10,000 in Kenya. ($5000 for projects at each orphanage). We would like to complete as many large projects for the orphanages as possible (these are not small projects, each orphanage holds over 300 students!).
